:|a Favorite adventure in Poly? Why choose to bring him here :U?

Most of his adventures in Poly happen because he has to fish someone out of some situation. /o\ Or he just sort of explored on his own, which was nice and exciting at first! I didn't get to play it out, but his favourite one would probably be when he left with his bff Ted for a few days around Ted's birthday and they went on an actual adventure in the forest/beach. :3

I chose to bring him here because...I had trouble picking anyone else! The one I first thought of is usually a one-trick pony, and I don't have a lot of OCs (I was going to be OC buddies with Jay/Liher's player), so it came down to Tyr, and I just thought it'd be more interesting to play him with Poly history! \o/ I like his development at Poly and wanted to continue it in a different direction. I also don't really get to deal with the side of him that fears death much in Poly or Marina - it's always about just having to escape so things are ~better~ - so Thusia seemed like it'd be really interesting! Also I like that it's all face-to-face interaction! I haven't gotten that since my first RP.

What does Howard think of all the Sabra people being in Thusia?

He doesn't bother thinking about it too much now. When he first arrived familiar people showing up hit him a lot harder, but since then he's sort of just accepted it. Thusia is comparatively not a bad place, since he has what's important to him. Some of the Sabra residents were pulled from places that were good for them though, so he feels a bit of sympathy about that and will sometimes go out of his way to check on whoever he knows is around. Otherwise he's focused on finding a way to get comfortable with everything.

First impressions of Gian?

Tyr thinks Gian is a laidback but probably a pretty good person! He likes that he's kinda friendly and helpful. He's also sort of surprised that he can use a gun since they're sorta ~secret~ in canon and he never learned they're actually pretty common, modern weapons in Poly, so he wonders what kind of person Gian is/was before.

Preeeetty sure Tyr is suffering from denial. Which is okay and all since everyone is having to deal with post-death trauma, but he is hoping he gets over it.

A part of Gian is also hoping that Tyr's right and that this is all some weird illusion or dream or whatever, because he's still having a bit of a tough time accepting everything that's happened and that he's now stuck in some place where everything wants to eat him.

Aside from that, the general impression he got is neutral-positive! Tyr was pretty easy to talk to and seemed like a steady head despite the strangeness of the situation, so Gian's a little curious about what kind of life he'd been living before all of this. Enough to try talking with him again anyway, since he's at least relatively normal compared to some of the other guys around here.

Tyr's impression of the gods here? Has he met any yet?

Tyr is suffering from the most denial, and he'll come down pretty hard when he has to accept that he and Rita are wrong...

He's only met one god so far, Kain! At the moment, he's still under the impression they're like Poly's deities - which is to say they're standoffish and probably malicious. By making themselves accessible with alters, he wonders if they're trying to manipulate people and make them more dependant on them. He's not sure what the motive behind all of that would be (ego-stroking?), but he's suspicious of the gods and avoiding them mostly because of that. He'll have to eventually meet them, but he tries to put it off.

If he actually gave in and met them, he'd probably be surprised that they're not all that hard to talk to for the most part! He thinks Kain is actually a pretty normal guy by god standards. He just seems sort of out of it, but Tyr likes that since at least Kain's not trying to act like he's better than him. It's hard to say how he'd be with them individually, though, since he would approach them suspiciously and that could affect how the meeting would go.

What's up with Gian's tattoo? Does it have a history?

Yeah, but it's not really a complicated one. CR-5 is the nickname for the mafia family Gian was a part of; they were originally the "Toscanini Family" but somewhere over the course of their history they picked up the nickname "CR-5" and that's what everyone in the family calls themselves. I'm assuming that every member of the family is required to get the CR-5 tattoo somewhere on their body, preferrably somewhere visible, since everyone else in the series who is also a part of CR-5 has the tattoo as well.

As for why Gian got the tattoo where he did, I have no idea, but I'm still in the process of reading all his pathways so maybe it's hiding in one of those :|a

Any canonmates/characters you would like to see in Thusia?

I think Riou and Jowy would be really interesting to have in Thusia, especially if they came from different versions of the ending or before the end of the game. The two already have such a complicated relationship with being best friends turned enemies (who still care about each other!), and I love seeing them interact. I'd also like more characters from Poly, even if Tyr never interacted with them, just so he and Rita can have someone that understands their intense denial.

Since all your characters look like they could kick ass, which one is most likely to win in a bare knuckles fight?

Oh man I would love to see more characters from other games, it'd be super interesting.

Haha, excluding Zhen Ji since he has cheater god powers, Flynn would pretty easily overwhelm Gian. Gian can and will fight dirty, he's been in a decent share of street fights, but Flynn's been in both street fights and trained combat due to his time with the knights. Plus his general physical strength/stamina/speed is higher than Gian's due to regular training and use, so yes, Gian is pretty dinky compared to an JRPG character.

Right now, Tyr spends most of his time just going through the motions. With Rita. He pretty much sticks close to Rita because as far as either of them are concerned, they're the only ones who aren't cursed, and if anything comes up (like a sudden attack), they want to be there for each other. He's getting a feel for the "public" areas (the ones that are clearly not someone's apartment) since knowing the layout could be pretty handy. He's still holding out hope that it's just a curse that'll end in a few days, though he's really questioning if it is now. He also really wants to find Estelle! But since Rita doesn't have magic and Rita wouldn't let herself be left behind, the plan's sorta...in limbo. :|;

What about your characters?

Gian spends most of his time around the safe areas, just kind of loitering around or bothering/watching the people in his apartment (c) go about their daily operations. Most of Apartment C are people who have their Shit Together in terms of survival training, so he's picking up what he can from them. He'll typically go out hunting with Aella though, since she's the one who volunteered to teach him things. Now that he's got his gun too, he'll be taking potshots from the hallway door to practice with his aim- essentially Gian's still in the 'training' period in terms of survival, but he's taking care to learn fast.

Flynn spends nearly all day outside of the safe areas, cleaning out new apartments or gathering food supplies for Apartment A. He comes back in for his meals though, and to sleep, but other than that he's pretty much outside the entire day working.
